Austin Area Rocketry Group

National Association of Rocketry Section 585
Tripoli Central Texas Prefecture 54

In the NAR, you'll find parents, children, educators, and many just plain nice folks who are interested in model rocketry. Some people are renewing their childhood interest in rocketry, some parents are looking for an organized activity they can participate in with their children, some are looking for the serious challenge of national competition, others just enjoy building and flying rockets.

Whatever brings you to rocketry - and even if you are already an NAR member, a local organization can provide many benefits that are difficult to secure with an ad-hoc organization, such as a regular flying field, nationally recognized competitive events, liability insurance, and the help and encouragement of a lot of nice rocketeers.
